I talked to my doc about the same problem and he recommended an antibiotic, which I can't take right now b/c I am pregnant. Some acne can not be cleared up with any drugstore products. Acne can sometimes be a lot worse than you think: boils, infected hairs or even a fungal infection. I would defiantly contact a doc and lay off any products until you are seen.By the way, your face doesn't look bad at all!! Good Luck!!

You use toner after you cleanse your face and before you moisturise. It helps prevent again black heads and makes your face feel really refreshed. Lots of people tend to skip the toner step but I think it's a really important step :)

Try locating a Sallys they are a beauty supply store. I did what you have done once and I went there and asked the clerk for help. I ended up getting a frosting cap but added color instead of bleach. Just a light ash blonde to tone it down.

Salons use stronger bleaches/peroxides not available to you and are trained to properly bleach hair. Sorry but if it was easy nobody would goto a pro.

Get a box of blonde hair dye and use it. If you think that wont work, use White Magic bleacher. It is amazing.

How long does proactive usually take to take full effect? use twice a day or just once?

Im only using the proactive lotion only after a regular sensitive skin face wash, because the toner burns my skin and all three are too much. My skin is looking better other then maybe a little initial breakout. How long does it normally take for skin to get used to proactive? the full regimin or not. My face is getting dryer and dryer every day its been like 10 days. any help will be great

Proactiv usually only takes a week to start working. If it isn't clearing up your face, and you are seeing effects from Proactiv that you do not like, discontinue use. Your face doesn't have to "get used" to it. The skin knows what it can and cannot handle from the first time something like Proactiv is applied. If you aren't getting the results you like, I would recommend trying a different product. Proactiv, like any other product, isn't made for everyone.

Before I get my face wet, I use Institut Esthederm's Gentle Makeup Remover on my eyes. It's lotion like so it makes my eyes soft after I wash my face. Then I use True's Purifying Anti-Bacterial Cleanser and once I lather it up I use it on my face and neck. Then when I'm done washing my face, I use True's Essential Clarifying Tonic which is a toner and put that on my face and neck. Then for moisturizer I use Institut Esthederm's Intesif Propolis. Sometimes I'll use True's Blemish Spot Treatment if I'm breaking out.

I would advice you to use a mask once or twice a week. Buy a good brand because you use just a bit every week and you will have it for a long time. I recommended you this brand because they have the best cleansing system and it's affordable.

You just need to cleanse, tone and moisturise every morning and evening. You are cleansing twice with the cleansing pads and then the wash which isn't good. You dont need different products for different days, and you should exfoliate once a week.

mmmm...i would say its good routine if it works, but if you do that for a very long time buy the time your 30 you'll look llike a 50 year old because all the product well just effect your face

....and if this continues for years to come, or if you want it to stop completely, seeing a dermatologist will help you immensely.

you can use a skin product up to 6 months after it "expires". This is a marketing ploy to get you to spend more money but more than 6 months and it won't be BAD but the active ingredients could de-activate or neutralize so that it won't work as well anymore. Throw out the step 3

my answer none of those products are good or works , the best way to treat acne, blackheads ect is to treat it naturally. you can find this product in your own kitchen, BAKING SODA, this works with the first use, it will itch the first couple of time u apply it to your face but it goes away, keep in mind that beauty is pain, this clears it up asap, just mix the baking soda with a little water to form a paste and apply it, leave till dry then rinse with cool water, do this 2 x a day untill u see desired results.

Then when i have zits i put oxy spot treatment on it. I works really well.

they only reason they dont want you to is because it can give you some really bad labour cramps and pains, i have drank it since about 23 weeks and everything was okay around like 34 weeks it made my contractions to strong and i just decided to stop so he wouldnt come early..

the tea isnt supposed ot put you into labor. its supposed to make delivery easier. such as no forcep or vacuum delivery and no tearing or episiotomy. i started it at 36 weeks. im sure it wont hurt if you start now

I started it in my third trimester. I ended up having my baby at 35 weeks due to preeclampsia but I did have a fast labor (dialated from 0-10 cm in six hours).

okay, i'm guessing your acne isn't that bad if these cleansers work. If it ever does get too bad to where you want a baby smooth face, get insurance through a hospital and go to dermatology. They prescribed me to antibiotics, they work wonders. I don't even have to wash my face, but i do anyways. Practically any antibiotic will clear up your face. But if you don't want to go there, I know of way better products than what you're using. There is a brand name called OXY. Use 2% salisylic acid face wash. And 10% benzoyl peroxide cream. That is the best you can get without prescriptions. Actually doctor's even prescribe people to 5% maybe 10% benzoyl peroxide.

Maybe it wont work for everyone but it worked for me and I have been plagued with acne since I was 15, I have now been using Johnstons for about 4 years.

ah god!..i use to work in a department store..and i brought the 3 step solution...and i REGRET IT!...i use the last bit of my money on this crap! thinkin....it was "good"...and the lady try to sell me the "exta what u need" stuff... i didnt like...it...it didnt work..and usually you suppose to give your new cleansers 6 months...and i jus hated it..i gave it to my parents...

woahh! this is the EXACT same problem im having! I use the clinique 3 step system as well, and i noticed that too, that my cotton balls from the toner still had dirt and makeup on them. let me know if you find any other good cleansers :)

PS - if you can get them, clean & clear do these blotting paper things - in the uk I find I have to order them in from Hong Kong or somewhere cos they stopped doing them here - but they're good. And if your face gets really greasy, just blot with a tissue if you can't find those. Some tissues are to fluffy so I tend to carry around a few sheets of kitchen roll for the purpose!!!

make sure you take all your make up off everynight before you sleep and do a face mask once a week.

Ditch the foundation it wil take your spots longer to heal and cause more break outs. Go to the doctors and try and get a speical cream for your spots, like I have. It stops my acne from scarring and it makes them healer faster, I also just broke out in heaps of tiny red pimpes on my forehead so I know how annoying that can be for you.

I would definitely have this done professionally. I have dark hair and tried highlighting my own hair when I was younger and ended up messing it up completely and then having to go in and have the salon fix it. When you have dark hair and try to highlight it yourself it will turn it orange. You will be glad that you paid the money and had it done professionally. Good luck!

For getting rid of the scars, try bio oil. My friend swears by it. Also, look up B.B cream or Blemish Balm Cream, it's brilliant for acne aparently. :)

Believe me i'm going thru the same thing and the best thing to do to get rid of acne is to tell a doctor. don't pic on spots or u'll get loads of scars. i hav loadz of acne on my back and i picked them and now i hav loads of scars on my back. trust me tell sum1

I think this is fine as long as you don't mix it with other products that will react negatively to each other. I recommend you start using soft soap ( e.g. glycerin), instead if you have acne and don't use those exfoliating creams ( they actually tear apart the healthy skin rather than the parts that have acne). If you use the soft soap, it's much cheaper and it like a moisturizer and a soap, so you'll usually only have to use one product.

OK this is a long story. Before, I've been using Proactiv 3-Step routine (cleanser, toner, and repairing lotion) for my facial acne. Then, my aunt introduced me to Mary Kay skincare, so I started using that, and had great results, but the only problem now is that it makes my face look too shiny, dries it out, and doesn't remove my dead skin cells, unlike Proactiv, which has those beads. I really miss my Proactiv, but I was just wondering if I've been using Mary Kay for 2 months and then I go back to Proactiv, would that be bad for my skin?

Alternating between products is much better than sticking with one product for years. Products can stop working for you because your skin gets used to them much like you become immune to medicine or get sick of a certain food if you have to much of it. So no... it would definitely not be bad for your skin at all... probably quite the opposite.

How long have you been using the Neutrogena? If you use it twice a day, switch to once a day. Always use a moisturizer, and you don't need a toner.

Normally you should wash your face, use toner, and then mosterise.But toner tends to dry skin out, so you should just wash your face, then use a mosteriser untill your skin is back to normal.

You should use a moisturizer by Aveeno like the positively ageless moisturizer with Spf 30 which is a must

use a night cream daily just before sleeping...after every wash use a gud moisturizer on ur facedon't use a toner if your face is dry. but yes a moisturizer would be a good idea. (olay or aveeno are gooood.)

As long as you wash your face daily you shouldn't get pimples unless your body decides to break out on it's own. If your worried still wash with cleanser gel or cleanser cream. Also we really don't need to know you have your period and have boobs.

I do advise though if you have strong orange tones to bleach again. That strand of hair that went platinum - is it in really bad condition? If not, you hair can probably survive another bleaching. When you put the pink on, it should improve your hairs health and cover up damage. (leave the pink on a few hours)

Overall, my skin routine is cleanse, tone, moisturize twice a day, with a makeup-removing soap added before the cleanser at night and a sunscreen after the moisturizer at night. I use the Ocean Salt twice a week in the shower (and then use any left scrub left on my hands on my elbows!). Keep in mind that any exfoliator with round particles will buff and cleanse your skin while anything with rough particles may damage your skin (like St. Ives' almond shell scrub).

I use Noahs naturals. It coast maybe 25 for all 3 of those and the tone is a spray. I love it. It makes my face look glowy lol.

I seriously tryed a lot of stuff like almost every face wash. I love clearasil daily face wash. It works really good. :) Cleans great and leaves face really soft.
